Who is eligible to attend?

Any administrative assistant, secretary, office manager, coordinator, or support staff whose job is to keep an office running.


What is your refund policy?

  • Cancellation requests prior to Friday, April 4th will result in a $50 administrative fee.

  • No refunds will be granted for cancellation requests received on or after Friday, April 4th.

  • If you are unable to attend, you may send a substitute.

  • Notification to Joanna Huskey of a substitute should be made by Monday, April 7th. 

  • No substitutes allowed after Monday, April 7th.


What should I wear?

Dress for the Administrative Professionals Conference is casual. We want you to be comfortable. Consider bringing a sweater if you get chilly in event/conference settings.


What should I bring?

Bring a pen or pencil, paper or notepad (whatever your preferred method of notetaking) and business cards (for networking during breaks). Also remember if you plan to do any shopping to bring checks, debit/credit cards and cash (some vendors are not equipped to accept debit/credit cards).


Is there space for nursing mothers?



What are my breakfast options?

Breakfast will be served from 8:00am until 9:00am. Please be aware that the buffet will be removed at 9:00am and we will need to clean up the area at this time. Thanks for your understanding. Please see the menu tab for details on what we will be serving.

Who should I contact if I have special dietary needs?

If anyone has a special dietary need and feel like they won't be able to eat from our buffet line, please contact Joanna Huskey at no later than Friday, March 28th. We will provide a boxed lunch menu (details on the menu tab) for you to choose from.  On conference day, your lunch will be in a specified location and Joanna will instruct all those who notified her in advance where to pick up their lunch. 



Parking is free!


To ensure we have enough handicap parking available on conference day, we are asking attendees to notify Joanna Huskey by Friday, April 4th (registration deadline) if they need handicap parking. WinMock will have a list of names of attendees that requested handicap parking ahead of time. We will send several emails ahead of time reminding attendees of this deadline.


Who should I contact if I or someone I know wants to be a vendor?

Joanna Huskey is our committee member who lines up our vendors. She can be reached at 336.716.4694 or Please contact her if you are interested in being a vendor or if you know someone who is interested.


Do vendors take debit and/or credit cards?

While some vendors will be set up to take debit and/or credit cards, not all vendors will be. Therefore, we strongly encourage you bring cash and/or checks if you plan to shop with many of the vendors. The committee would like to be able to provide an ATM machine for our attendees, unfortunately this is not a viable option.


COVID Policy

The Administrative Professionals Conference will be following state and local guidelines. However, if your institution has other guidelines, we recommend that you follow your institution's guidelines.


Should we have to cancel the conference due to COVID-19, we will offer a full refund to anyone requesting one by a specified date if possible. We will also offer those requesting to roll-over their registration to the next conference that option as well. If we are unable to hold our conference in April, we will postpone because we don't want to give you anything less than what you are used to. The Administrative Professionals Conference is a day we give you to treat you as you deserve and anything less than that isn't acceptable!
