Who is eligible to attend?

If your role involves supporting teams, managing operations, coordinating projects, or helping your organization run efficiently, this conference is for you! We welcome administrative assistants, executive assistants, coordinators, office managers, secretaries, and other administrative and support professionals.

 

What is your refund policy?

• Refunds requested by Friday, April 2nd are subject to a $50 administrative fee.

• No refunds will be issued after Friday, April 2nd.

• Registrations may be transferred to a substitute attendee if notification is received by Monday, April 5th. 

• No substitutions will be accepted after Monday, April 5th.

 

What should I wear?

Come as you are! The dress code for the Administrative Professionals Conference is casual. We want you to feel comfortable and enjoy the experience. If you are often cold in conference or event spaces, we recommend bringing a sweater or light jacket. 

 

What should I bring?

Bring your preferred note-taking materials, whether that's a notebook and pen or a digital device. We also encourage you to bring business cards for networking during breaks and throughout the conference. 

 

If you plan to shop with any of our vendors, please bring a payment method that works best for you, such as cash, check, or a debit/credit card. Please note that some vendors may not be able to accept debit or credit card payments.

 

Is there space for nursing mothers?

Yes! Nursing mothers can use the Bridal Suite which is located near the bathrooms.

 

What are my breakfast options?

Breakfast will be available from 8:00am until 9:00am. Please note that the buffet will be cleaned up promptly at 9:00am so the area can be prepared for the start of the conference. We appreciate for your understanding and encourage you to arrive early to enjoy breakfast. For a complete list of menu items, please visit the Food tab.

Who should I contact if I have special dietary needs?

If you have special dietary needs and do not expect to find a suitable options on the buffet, please contact Joanna Huskey at Joanna.Huskey@Advocatehealth.org no later than Friday, April 2nd. 

 

A boxed lunch option will be available for those with dietary restrictions. Please refer to the Food tab for details and lunch selections.

 

Parking?

Parking is free for all conference attendees. Golf carts will be available to provide transportation between the parking areas and the venue before and after the conference. 

 

To help ensure adequate accessible parking is available, attendees who require handicap-accessible parking are asked to indicate this on their registration form. Legacy Stables and Events will receive a list of those who requested accessible parking in advance to help accomodate their needs.

 

Who should I contact if I or someone I know wants to be a vendor?

We welcome inquiries from individuals and businesses interested in becoming conference vendors. If you would like to participate as a vendor, or know someone who may be interested, please contact Joanna Huskey at 336.716.4694 or Joanna.Huskey@Advocatehealth.org for more information.

 

Do vendors take debit and/or credit cards?

Many of our vendors accept debit and credit cards; however, some vendors are only able to accept cash or checks. If you plan to shop with multiple vendors, we recommend bringing a variety of payment options, including cash and/or checks.

 

Please note that an ATM will not be available on-site, so plan accordingly before arriving to the conference.

 

COVID Policy

The Administrative Professionals Conference will follow state and local health guidelines. If your organization has other additional requirements or recommendations, we encourage you to follow those guidelines as well.

 

In the event the conference must be cancelled due to COVID-related circumstances, registration fees may be refunded or applied toward a future conference. Any available options will be communicated to registered attendees as soon as possible.
